Benha National University Council held a meeting chaired by Prof. Tamer Samir, President of the University, with the attendance of Prof. Hussein El-Maghraby, Vice President for Academic Affairs; Prof. Mahmoud Shakal, Vice President for Employment, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship; program directors, council members, the University Secretary-General, and the Assistant University Secretary.
Prof. Tamer Samir opened the session by congratulating Coptic brothers on the glorious Easter and the Egyptian people on Sham El-Nessim celebrations.
Prof. Tamer Samir presented the Human Resources Plan for the administrative structure, job titles, and the number of administrative staff from [2025 to 2030]. The council approved forming a committee to review the proposed plan and prepare a final report.
Prof. Hussein El-Maghraby, Vice President for Academic Affairs, reviewed the general admission policies for the [2025/2026 academic year] and discussed assessing the academic programs’ capacities to determine undergraduate student intake limits over the next five years. He also addressed organizing scientific days across university faculties and announcing regulations for research ethics following the formation of the Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research Committee.
Prof. Mahmoud Shakal, Vice President for Employment, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship, highlighted the signing of cooperation protocols between the university and various industrial companies to provide students with training and employment opportunities.
