Benha National University organized a specialized training workshop in collaboration with the Egyptian Banking Institute, under the auspices of Prof. Tamer Samir, President of Benha National University. The workshop was titled:
“Digital Transformation and Fintech Workshop”
This initiative aligns with the university's commitment to connecting education with the labor market and emphasizes the importance of developing students' academic and professional personalities, providing an educational environment that enables them to confidently meet the demands of the job market.
Prof. Tamer Samir emphasized that the university places great importance on offering innovative educational experiences through collaboration with prestigious training institutions like the Egyptian Banking Institute, the training arm of the Central Bank of Egypt. This ensures the preparation of graduates capable of competing in the local and regional labor markets. He noted that such workshops are a significant step towards developing students' digital and financial skills, in line with the state's vision for digital transformation and financial inclusion.
The organization of this workshop is part of the university's strategy to support its students with practical programs and quality initiatives that contribute to their qualification and broaden their horizons, linking them to professional reality, thereby enhancing their future opportunities in various fields.
Prof. Mahmoud Shakl, Vice President for Employment, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship, stated that the university adopts a comprehensive vision aimed at empowering students to acquire the necessary skills for the changing labor market. He pointed out that collaboration with recognized institutions like the Egyptian Banking Institute represents a strong addition to the training system within the university. He added that this workshop is part of the university's plan to build a real bridge between academic knowledge and practical application, which contributes to enhancing students' employment and entrepreneurship opportunities.
Prof. Shadi Y. El-Mashad, Executive Director of the Continuous Learning Center, indicated that the training program is part of the center's plan to provide specialized training content that aligns with rapid technological transformations, serving the university's aim of offering a modern educational experience that keeps pace with global developments. He added that the center continues to provide quality initiatives that refine students' skills and grant them real opportunities for excellence.
The workshop witnessed remarkable participation from students of the College of Economics and Business Administration, supported by Prof. Doaa Aql, Dean of the College, who was keen to encourage her students to benefit from this rich training experience that combined theoretical knowledge with practical application.
At the conclusion of the workshop, participants received accredited certificates from the Egyptian Banking Institute, as part of an outstanding training experience that reflects Benha National University’s commitment to a comprehensive vision for building qualified graduates for the future, capable of contributing effectively to the labor market.
