Under the auspices of Prof. Tamer Samir, the President of the University, and as part of the support for cooperation between the academic and industrial sectors, and to enhance training and employment opportunities for university students in engineering and technological fields, Benha National University signed a joint cooperation protocol with Al-Madina Steel Company. This took place in the presence of Prof. Mahmoud Shakl, Vice President of the University for Employment, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship, Prof. Shady El-Mashad, Dean of Computer Science College, Prof. Doaa Aql, Dean of Economics and Business Administration College, along with Mr. Mahmoud Abdel Azim Suleiman, CEO of Al-Madina Steel Company, and several representatives from the company.
Prof. Tamer Samir emphasized that the university places great importance on building bridges of cooperation with industrial sector institutions, believing in the importance of integration between the two sides in preparing human resources with the necessary scientific and practical skills for the labor market. He pointed out that signing this protocol reflects the university's vision of providing advanced applied education that serves the national economy and supports sustainable development efforts. He also valued the cooperation with Al-Madina Steel Company as one of the leading industrial entities in Egypt, affirming that this partnership will contribute to qualifying students and providing them with real experiences within the work environment.
For his part, Prof. Mahmoud Shakl confirmed that the university is keen on opening new horizons for cooperation with private sector institutions, in line with the requirements of the labor market and enhancing students' scientific and practical skills.
