Benha National University Concluded Military & National Education Programs to Strengthen Values & National Discipline- Building a Responsible Generation Through Holistic Education

 Under the auspices of Prof. Tamer Samir, President of Benha National University, the university successfully concluded military education programs for 132 male students and national education courses for 117 female students across all Colleges. These initiatives, organized in collaboration with the Popular and Military Defense Forces, align with Egypt’s broader strategy to foster civic responsibility and national unity. ---   Program Objectives:

  1. Strengthening National Identity: Embedding values of patriotism, discipline, and community engagement.
  2. Combatting Modern Threats: Addressing challenges like fourth-generation warfare through awareness programs.
  3. Holistic Youth Development: Preparing students physically, mentally, and intellectually to contribute to national security and development.

Leadership Perspectives Prof. Tamer Samir emphasized: - Military education is a mandatory graduation requirement for male students, implemented under strict regulatory frameworks. - These programs are part of a comprehensive system to equip youth with skills for understanding national security and serving Egypt.

Prof. Hussein El-Maghraby, Vice President for Academic Affairs, added: - The courses play a pivotal role in shaping students’ national consciousness and identity.

They prepare young cadres to tackle challenges and actively participate in building Egypt’s future

Program Components:

  1. Theoretical Training: - Lectures on national security, Egyptian identity, and risks of hybrid warfare.
  2. Practical Drills: - Light physical exercises to enhance fitness and self-discipline.
  3. Collaborative Supervision: - Oversight by Col. Mohamed Reda Abdel Hafez and Col. Nabil Abdel Maged Metwally from the Defense Forces, ensuring adherence to high educational and training standards.
