Benha National University Council Approved Scholarship Reports Submitted for Students

The Council of Benha National University held its meeting, chaired by Prof. Tamer Samir, President of the University, with the attendance of Prof. Hussein El-Maghraby, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Prof. Mahmoud Shakal, Vice President for Employment, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship, College Deans, Mr. Ayman Bayoumi, Secretary General of the University, and members of the University Council.

Prof. Tamer Samir opened the session by congratulating Prof. Abd El-Aziz Qonswa on the esteemed trust from the political leadership and his appointment as Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, wishing him continued success in his new role. He also expressed gratitude to Prof. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, the former Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, in appreciation of his efforts during his tenure.

The President of the University also congratulated Prof. Shady Y. El-Mashad, Advisor to the President of the University for Digital Transformation and Smart Governance, and Dean of the College of Computer Science at Benha National University, on the trust placed in him by the political leadership and his appointment as Deputy Governor of Beheira, wishing him continued success.

Prof. Hussein El-Maghraby reviewed the approval of the first semester results for the university programs, which include (Dentistry, Physical Therapy, Veterinary Medicine, Engineering, Computer Science, Economics and Business Administration, Visual Arts and Design, and Energy Sciences).

He also discussed the memorandum submitted by the Dean of the Physical Therapy College regarding the training of 25 third-year students at Benha University hospitals, and the training of third-year students at Al-Sahel Institute and Matariya Hospital during the second semester. Additionally, he reviewed the memorandum submitted by the Dean of the Medicine College regarding the training of clinical phase students (fourth year) in the departments of surgery, obstetrics, and pediatrics at Benha University Hospital through field training visits throughout the second semester, with two visits for each student. He also presented the scholarship report provided to university students for the academic year 2025/2026.

Prof. Mahmoud Shakal reviewed the university's preparations to organize the first employment forum at Benha National University in April, in addition to signing several cooperation protocols between the university and various institutions and centers aimed at providing training and employment opportunities for university students.
