Benha National University’s Council reviewed a series of academic, employment, and student development initiatives during its latest meeting, chaired by Prof. Tamer Samir, President of the University, with the participation of Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University; Prof. Hussein El Maghraby, Vice President for Academic Affairs; Prof. Mahmoud Shakal, Vice President for Employment, Innovation and Entrepreneurship; program directors; members of the University Council; and Mr. Ayman Bayoumi, University Secretary-General.
The meeting opened with Eid Al-Adha greetings extended by Prof. Tamer Samir to the University community, wishing continued prosperity and wellbeing for Egypt and the broader Arab and Islamic nations.
Discussions focused on the recommendations of the Employment and Graduates Subcommittee concerning graduate employability indicators across the University’s academic programs, as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen alignment between educational outcomes and labor market needs.
The Council also reviewed final preparations for second-semester examinations, which commenced on Thursday, confirming that all academic and organizational arrangements had been completed to ensure a smooth examination process and an appropriate environment for students.
Prof. Hussein El Maghraby presented the final examination schedules for the University’s academic programs, alongside the academic calendar for the 2025/2026 Summer Semester, with registration scheduled to begin on Saturday, July 4. The session also reviewed the formation of the University’s research planning team and academic advising reports for the second semester.
Prof. Mahmoud Shakal reviewed recently signed cooperation agreements between the University and several institutions and specialized centers, as well as a summary of the activities carried out by the Employment, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Sector during the 2025/2026 academic year.
The meeting further discussed proposed regulations for the University Alumni Club and reviewed available summer training opportunities offered through partner factories and institutions for students during Summer 2026.
