Prof. Tamer Samir, President of Benha National University, attended the opening of the 10th edition of the Akhbar El Youm Educational Exhibition 2026, held under the theme “Limitless Opportunities” and organised by Akhbar El Youm Foundation. The exhibition is held under the patronage of Prof. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, and Prof. AbdElaziz Konsowa, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, with the participation of 75 public, private, national, and technological universities and institutes. The opening ceremony took place at the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency Hall of the Egyptian General Authority for Exhibitions and Conferences in Nasr City.
The opening was attended by journalist Islam Afifi, Chairman of Akhbar El Youm Foundation, along with a number of university presidents, and witnessed strong attendance from Egyptian General Secondary Education Certificate students and their parents seeking diverse higher education opportunities.
Benha National University’s pavilion attracted a large number of students and parents interested in learning more about the university’s academic programmes, study system, and admission requirements, as well as its practical training opportunities and local and international partnerships, which contribute to preparing qualified graduates for the labour market.
Prof. Tamer Samir, President of Benha National University, emphasised that the university’s participation in the Akhbar El Youm Educational Exhibition reflects its strategy of maintaining direct engagement with students and parents and introducing them to its contemporary academic programmes, developed in accordance with international standards and aligned with labour market needs across a range of disciplines.
He further highlighted the university’s continued expansion of its specialised academic programmes and its efforts to provide an integrated learning environment that combines theoretical study with practical application, while strengthening international cooperation and advancing scientific research to prepare graduates capable of innovation and competition at the local, regional, and international levels.
