Benha National University Congratulates Omar El Taher on Winning Gold at the 2026 Mediterranean Karate Championships

Benha National University extends its congratulations to Omar El-Taher, a third-year student at the Faculty of Medicine, on winning the gold medal and first place in the Under-21 Kumite +84 kg category at the 32nd Mediterranean Karate Championships 2026, held in Alexandria from 17 to 21 June 2026.

Representing the Egyptian National Karate Team, El-Taher’s latest achievement adds to his sporting record and reflects his ability to combine academic excellence with high-level international competition. His accomplishment exemplifies the balance between academic commitment and sporting ambition, highlighting the breadth of achievement possible within the university community.
